I had one of those last week on clay where I had a nice long slide into the shot. My opponent shot me a bird afterwards.

Even better when performed on more than one break point.

Haha. I had another bird thrown my way 2 weeks ago when I hit the exact same ace down the middle on the ad court the two points apart.

CC, short in the box or better yet, in the alley (in doubles). Love, love it.

Of course, an ace (which is very rare in my lowly atmosphere) is always a surprise and delight.

You know when you Rifle a forehand winner DTL,
and your gut is blown in 4 places,Especially when you know you smacked it as hard as you could.Gives me that "Hulk feeling"Thats The Shot"

Breaking 3 or 4 strings is a pretty nice feeling.

Ooh, I did that last weekend on match point. Couldn't help but grin like the cat that swallowed the canary. Felt pretty good.

its a tough question...but generally the more effortless shots that produce power, feels the best.

I have been struggling with my topspin DB for a while and recently changed technique. So it feels great getting any sort of power and fluidity on that shot.

There is also this shot when your are forced to do a running backhand (or forward on the run), and you hit a clean slow controlled winner with slice down the line...especially when using disguise or around the net post - totally fooling the net player in doubles. More of a finesse shot.

Any shot that makes my opponent have that stunned look on his face like, "did he just do that?"

Ones I remember -
Bucharest Backhand overhead facing the back fence taking the ball on the rise after the lob got over my head and just ripping it down the alley past the stunned net man.
In a doubles match, deep in my ad court about 10-12 feet behind the baseline and about 6 feet outside the doubles sideline, whacking the ball with as much power and spin as I can muster for a short angle crosscourt winner in front of the opposing net man in their ad court. I remember thinking as I was hitting it, "There's no way I should be trying this shot."

My regular opponents have seen my full-swinging backhand passing shot taking the ball on the rise just a couple inches off the ground at the baseline and my backhand volleys a couple feet to my forehand side enough times that they are used to them.

I'm not known for playing percentage tennis.

1.) Doubles - OHBH passing shot at the net guy.
2.) Singles - Match point drop shot. Don't recall ever doing it from return of serve.

For me, the most satisfying shot is the one that wins me the last point of the match.

At the net lunging horizontal for for their passing shot, getting to it, absorbing the pace and dropping it nicely for a winner. Watching their body language afterward wondering how the heck their passing shot was not a winner is sweet.

Hard one handed DTL for a winner. I get about 2-3 of these a match and there is nothing more satisfying than that.
