How much of this information must match up for a grommet set of one racquet to fit another?

If you have a match for brand, pattern, head size and stringing instructions then the grommets are very likely the same. If not, you probably don't have an exact fit.

I have a few Head racquets with a TK61 grommet code. I have called big stores, little stores, private stores, and even Head headquarters to find out where I can find more. No one has them - I've learned they were essentially for prestrung racquets and were not sold otherwise. They come on the Ti. Carbon and Graphite One, both great sticks when leaded up. I recorded the info for both and scanned the rest of the racquets for matching numbers, no racquet hit all the columns.

I remember the Ti Carbon (5001?), it was sort of a silver/brownish/gray paint job. I think they are 102's, 18x19? Not sure of the beam width. 22mm? There was also a 5000 which looked like a Ti Rad. There were some other versions with different numbers.

You could take a chance on a similar set with the same pattern and head size.
Worst case, it doesn't fit and you can sell the grommets.

I have used grommets with different codes than the originals successfully. It can be done. Sometimes they are the same as the originals geometry wise.

Prestige Team Midplus CAP grommets? Not sure if you can find them at this point.

I doubt you will find the original coded grommets, too obscure. Sometime obscure grommets show up on the auction site. Set up a search and someday, you might get lucky.

These are some of the likely candidates. Worth a shot.

Otherwise, just set up a search on the auction site and the wanted ads here. I think you would have a easier time finding the same racket and buying that as a replacement than finding the tk61 grommets alone. The used rackets don't seem to go for much; $50 and less.

Check out auction 380473484117, they are flexpoints but might fit. I would also contact that particular seller as he deals in obscure grommets, he might be able to point you to some other sets he has that will fit your old 102, 18x19.

Yup, TL above and I have been down this road before and both with little to no success in finding the TK61 grommets. With a little of modding, I was able to get the FXP Prestige Team CAP grommets to fit on one of my Ti Carbons. The fact that the Ti Carbons were marketed as recreational racquets makes them a great racquet for modding. They're light and are of either a bit head heavy or even balance. For those who looking for a super mid plus Radical/Prestige, the Ti Carbons fit the bill...silicone in the handle, CAP grommets and lead around the head and you've got yourself a sleeper of a killer frame. It's too bad Head abandoned their "Master" 102/660 headsize, especially in classic beam type frame. I always wished they would've continued with a Prestige Team model...

Do you know the dimensions of the grommet?
If so you can try Fittex grommets.

There are a ton of versions out there since some were sold all over the world, some in just the US, some in just UK, etc. I have a 5000, 5001, and two 6000's. I know there is one that has yellow in it and one that has light blue as well, and there may be more. I also have a Ti. Carbon One 1000 that I bought from a UK coach which shares the same mold (and most of the name) and a Graphite One which also shares the same mold and is thought the be around before or maybe even at the same time as the Ti. Carbons. As you said, I averaged about $30 per stick, so not bad at all. And they are 102's (but look like maybe 100 when laying on a true 98sq in frame), 18x19, I'd say 21mm. The 5000 looks like a Ti Rad with the color patterns just in different places, and that's one of the reasons I was drawn to it after learning that it was a good stick with even better potential

I looked into those and the same idea from other brands for my POG which came with individual grommets (the 2nd version). There are just so many different lengths that, from what I can remember, it seemed like it would be a costly venture to do the whole frame

Where do you want to replace the grommet?
Is it in the bumper guard area?

You can just do teflon tubing on that spot that needs to be replaced.

Ideally I would get a bumperguard and grommets strips, the whole package. It's not that I need a single grommet or whole strip/bumper replaced right now, it's just to have as a full replacement

Like I said if you want to replace all the grommets later you can just buy fittex grommets.
They cost about $7 for 20/50/100 pieces depending on what the dimensions of the grommets are.
