I was looking through google about Federer and Murray, for sure Federer has had some choice words for Andy Murray....even an article by Annabel Croft said there is some tension between the two. I doubt anyone here knows the locker room relations in the men's game but I didn't know they have some disdain for each other. I just thought everyone gets on with each over.

I think Federer could care less. Murray's the one who needs to step up and do more than just beating Federer. He needs to beat the next guy after Federer. He needs to stop pushing and start getting really aggressive, coming to net and ending points.

Lol..I think there will ALWAYS be some tension between them so long as their overall H2H stays stubbornly in Murray's favour (now running at 11-9). Fed is not used to guys having positive H2Hs against him like that except for Nadal and Nadal is a special case!
I believe it's always been one of Federer's ambitions regarding Murray to wipe out that deficit and at least equalise it if not turn it round altogether. Had he won their semi at the AO, he would have finally achieved parity. Instead, that damn Scottie went and stretched it again in his favour and in a Slam if you please! Fed is not amused. Hence the slight undercurrent of tension.
