Default Poor communication and slow shipping from Badmice2

I sent payment to Badmice2 for a Dunlop Biomimetic max 200G on January 14, 2013 after agreeing on a price including shipping. The last email I received from Fred Lam: badmice2@yahoo.com
He told me "Cool. I'll have it ship with the next day or so."
Well... that was 2 weeks ago. I've sent multiple follow-up emails within the last week with absolutely zero replies. No updates... no shipping info... nothing. I've seen a few positive reviews for this user, so I felt confident buying from him. He also said he had 2, and that one sold, so I find it weird that he didn't just try to "sell" me both. Regardless, I have opened a dispute with Paypal, and will escalate it to an official claim if I do not hear back from Fred Lam in the next day or two. I have purchased a few other racquets from these boards in the past and have sold a few too. It's too bad that this is my first bad experience,

Jon

I would suggest you escalate it to a claim now as you have waited long enough. That will get his attention.

If the racket shows up in the interim, cancel the claim.

Since you are in Canada, shipping from the USA often takes 2 weeks. I assume he is in the USA?

At any rate, he should have emailed you the tracking number if he shipped already. No good excuse for not doing so. Your concern is warranted.

Well... the racquet has been received! I had it sent to my US address, as it's usually WAY faster than having it shipped to Canada. So it looks like the racquet made it after all. I am still not very happy about the lack of communication, but I am very relieved that the racquet was sent. I will pick it up on Wednesday, and hopefully everything is ok.

It is only way faster if the other person actually ships the racket on time.

2 weeks for a domestic shipment is about one week too long IMHO. The no communication thing is ridiculous.

If the racket is okay, have Dire change the title of your thread to something neutral that reflects the slow shipping and lack of communication.

How do I edit the title? Now that I have received the racquet in the condition as described, I would like to change it to a more neutral tone.

Hit the little i thing in your original post and ask the moderator to change the title.

He deserves a neutral reference at best because he was slow to ship and ignored your emails.
