Default Nice Article on Djokovic serve accuracy

http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Ten...lian-Open.aspx

I remember when Djoker first came on the scene, commentators talked about how well placed his serves were. He lost that in 09-10 period but seems to have picked it up.

Undoubtedly he is taking a very special ped that helps in serve placement as well.

Lol. He will need a very efficient serve to remain competitive at the top as he ages. Movement can't be relied on the same way in one's late 20s.

That's one thing that doesn't get mentioned nearly enough, Novak's serve in 2011 was almost on par with his serve in 2008 while in 2010 his serve was in the worst shape of his career (at one point he had more double faults than aces), as a consequence he was forced to grind out/earn every point in his service games and thus expanded more energy.

He served very well at AO this year.

Agreed! Adderall comes to mind...not to mention PEDS increase your confidence to go for your shots. Of course PEDS also help you to train harder thus increase your fitness. He does look like an elite cyclist now, no?

thing is djokovic's serve used to be at the same level of federer imo he had more pace than fed and the direction was a little in favor to federer now i think fed dominates both categories
