I have an OS with a flex of 57.
Have been using Gosen 17 micro. strung at 60. When I go out and hit after newly strung it feels very boardy. As a rule, are you better off using a softer string with a flex OS Racket |

There is no rule. Just do what works best for you. Takes a little experimentation and court time before you find the money setup.

from there you increase or decrease the tension in small (2-3 lb) increments to fine tune the feel you are looking for/desire. |

I just came back from playing a 95 head, 63 flex, same Gosen 17 micro, freshly strung at 52, and it also felt boardy at the start. After a half hour of "string torture", things softened out and it played better.
