Default Launch angle too low on forehand?

I have been hitting with a 16x18. I just switched to a 16x20 frame with almost identical specs (Yonex vcore 95d) and found that my forehands were a lot lower over the next, or went into the net. Whereas with the 16x18 they landed deep. I assume this is the string pattern causing this.
I strung my 16x18 with gut/poly at 52/50. Tried the same in the yonex. Should i drop the tension to say 52/48 to increase the launch angle?

What racquet and strings exactly?
Anyway, try shaped poly in the mains, such as Dunlop Black Widow or PolyStar Turbo, and you will have ridiculous launch angle even for denser string pattern. With natural gut mains you will have to go back to your 16x18 or adjust your technique, dropping tension will only help so much.

I found the same ting when I went from a POG with 14x18 to the Donnay with 18x20.

As the other posters have said, adjust your swing. I have to go more low to high. It's helped my game overall tough

Are you watching the ball through contact with the new racquet? I'd be tempted to look up too soon to see how my shot looked, where you knew what to expect with the old racquet.
