First tourney, made the finals of C tourney, GoldenGatePark. C is 3.5.
Now won't come close, so I've regressed quite a bit.

I'd assume everyone would start at relatively the same level. Or do you mean the first time you played USTA league?

Right, when you entered USTA, what was your rating (and say the year). And what is your rating now.

Started: 3.5 October 2011
Now: Upper 4.0 singles, average 4.0 doubles
At this rate, probably 4.5 level singles in a half year or so.

Started in about 1993 after about a 10 year layoff as a 5.0.
Tore up my knee in 1995, after that came back as a 4.5.
Couple of years off due to torn elbow tendon and am now a 4.0.
Working my way down to 2.5.

Started as beginner in mid-70s.

1979 1st league was low B - not usta league but probably like 3.0-3.5.

Officially reached 4.5 in mid 80s and did very well.

Played 2 seasons 5.0 in late 80s and won about 40% before team broke up due to poor performance. This was pre-internet and I am not sure if my official rating was bumped or if we just moved the whole team up because some on the team were bumped. We were 2nd in state in 4.5 the season before.

Now, 56 years old and play A ALTA about like 4.0 USTA and working hard to maintain level.
