PD107 is a pretty good racket and is known to be comfortable. Huge power on serves. High weight is tough on the shoulders when serving so the 107 seems like a good choice.

Gran should definitely try out the C10 pro. Reasonably light to swing but stable and powerful. When I used that racquet, I almost found it too powerful. Had to put lots of topspin on the ball to keep them in.

Greetings and thanks for the thread -
The PD 107 fits the bill right now (4 months out from surgery) as it has a large string bed offering soft contact and increased power. It's lighter weight makes it easier to move around, especially when serving. I can still really "stick" my volleys with it and it is forgiving, especially on 1/2 volleys - which I've hit a lot of with my lackluster serve right now.
We'll see - total recovery for shoulder is going to be about a year (still have pain while healing, expecially on the serve) but I can at least be competitive with this racquet right now - and who knows, may keep it as I can get all the power I need, good touch, and again - soft feel.
BUT - I do miss the pancakes! Thanks for all the suggestions - every one of the racquets mentioned is spot on in my sweetspot.

Gran, TW
