Default AeroPro Drive Cortex vs AeroPro Drive 2013

Hi,

My current racket of choice is the AeroPro Drive Cortex (Non-GT).

I tried the GT for 6 months but the stiffness felt higher and swingweight was higher.

My question is the new AeroPro Drive 2013 similar to the Cortex (Non-GT) version as the swingweight is now lower? Is it worth the upgrade? If not, I will search for used cortex (non-gt) racquets.

Thanks!

Swingweight of the 2013 is definitely lower than the GT and even lower than the cortex.

I found that the new one is a bit less stable than the cortex and GT, but it had a much softer feel and better control. Everything else was about the same. I enjoyed the upgrade in feel too much to let the slight drop in stability bother me.

So go to TWU and plug in the two above captioned rkts in the shot distance comparison section and there is minuscule difference. The beauty of this is it just compares rkts keeps technique identical , so if yourvquestion is just about rkt then there is your answer . Of course downside is cannot comment on feel or how it fits you the individual player
