Default Best player with worst BH

Who is the best player, I guess won the most Grand Slams with the worse BH. Courier comes to mind although it was good on the return of serve. Other maybe lendl? Both had massive forehands so not sure if it was just because its all relative and we just couldnt help but notice the difference off the other wing or was their BH truly that bad. Others?

Sampras' wasn't anything to write home about, not that he needed it very often.

Lendl's backhand was actually rather good in my opinion, I might say Courier for the actual question.

Federer. Won 17 slams with that kind of backhand. Awful.

People don't understand the question. The question is "Who won the MOST slams with the worse backhand?". It is clearly Federer.

He's just upset that my backhand is better than Pete's.

Sampras hands down. That backhand barely kept him in the rallies. Luckily for him most of the surfaces were fast so he could dictate play with his serve and forehand before someone got to his backhand. On clay it was completely useless.

You guys are out of your mind. Sampras' backhand was great just compared to his forehand it wasn't as good.

This clip alone has so many backhand winners and different angles, spins, pace and depths.

Hardly "barely kept him in rallies" hahah

Actually both Fed and Sampras are in the running for this, but Fed has more slams with equal backhand, so the winner goes to Federer.

Of the absolute greats, yeah, they are, but like someone mentioned...I'd rate Courier as inferior to both Fed and Pete's

Lendl? He had a very good BH - his line BH on the run was a thing of beauty.

though he didn't win any slams, Jimmy Arias had god-awful backhand...

I think people here forget that women also play tennis. This was my first thought as well.
