Looking for suggestions. I've tried playing a full poly job of BHBR at 47 pounds. That was comfortable and powerful, but it did not feel particularly precise.
In the video review, Granville and Chris were suggesting Proline 2, so I'm thinking about trying that in 18g. Other suggestions from your experience with this racket? Thanks.

I enjoyed the Yonex multi the demo came strung with.
If you have a healthy arm, you can go for the poly but it is a fairly stiff frame. |

I am using head sonic pro 17 white @ 55lbs and loving it.
I have also used red code and black code, both were good but a bit stiff for me, although I would use either again.

I tried in this racquet (demo-sensation) Then I bought it and used this... Full bed Wilson gut 16 Full bed Tonic 16+ Tonic/PS big ace- didnt like it..very muted Full bed WC Mosquito bite- great string and tame the power, but i string it for just one day test cause I have TE, and i did have after playing shoulder pain as well. Full bed Dunlop Black Widow 17-(3 hours test) I did enjoy this one, but probably will be too powerful for you. When my arm get better I get this or a multi reel ( will explain more below) Since you want to hold the power of the string and be precise give a tried to Mosquito Bite if your arm is healthy. But I most said, that Im struggling myself with this racquet about being precise too. Its very unforgiven and you need to be %100 behind the shots. Its a great racquet though. Oh and funny is that I think I played my best with the vcore 95d when I demo with Wilson sensation. I never performed good with any full multi, but I did with this demo(weird). |

If you liked BHBR but want more precision, try the new BHB7.

The TW review says that it's very string sensitive so you should test alot of strings to fit the one of your liking.

I would try Yonex strings, not many people talk about them, but they are really good.
You can try the Polytour Pro on full bed, or hybrid with the 850. |

Lets talk boys, just got the racquet, looking at a soft poly, a nice black one or maybe a gut poly hybrid.

MSV HEX 1.23 (black) @55/ Gosen Sheep Micro 17g @57 - great feel, durable and cheap.

Try Signum Pro Tornado 1.17. Enough power and also you will have more feel to the ball.

I put PL2 in my 95D and it is a nice soft poly but way too powerful for me. I strung it up higher but I lost some of the feel to the string. Maybe use a thicker string instead of 1.20.

How about the combo of b5e/genesis thunderblast? That was highly reviewed by pvaudio and mikeler. 16g should help to tame the power of the 95d. That or bhb7/thunderblast.

Alot higher than 47! I string BHBR16 at 54CP in a 95/18x20 and BHBR17 at 55CP, having tested every +1lb increment from 50-57lbs. In fact, with your 95D, I wouldn't be using anything other than the 16 (that's the best gauge for BHBR), and I'd also be stringing at 54/55CP as a minimum. Everyone (including myself initially) keeps on choosing 17 but 16 is the sweetspot gauge for BHBR for practically every racquet because the gauge run thin, the string is inherently lively and springy (17 too much so) and the 16 adds a bit more stiffness and control whilst not losing those characteristics. Hey all,
I'm very happy with the 95d but am struggling to find a string that suits it well. I bought them used and one of them still has the tecnifibre nrg2 which for whatever reason hits really well. I also remember (as another poster mentioned) hitting really well with the demo which had wilson sensation. All of this leads me to consider a multi string so I ordered the discho microfibre to try that out. I'm going to try a full bed of multi, hybrid, and a full bed of poly (which I'm used to). For poly, what do you all recommend? I read torres' post about the tecnifibre razor code and want to try that. The volkl cyclone tour has me intrigued as well. I'm a 4.5 player but am looking for a powerful poly because that should still be less powerful than the nrg2/95d combo. That combo is allowing me to have great court penetration and I'm still hitting a great slice. My topspin isn't as prevalent but the 95d encourages me to hit flat. Anyways I would appreciate any help to finish the second part of the equation now that I have the racket solved. Thanks. |

I forgot to mention another string I want to try is the ashaway monogut zx. As you can see I'm all over the place.
Torres, did you try the monogut zx with the 95d? |
