Just got two Volkl PB 7's from TW (couldn't resist the price). The grips have a small orange sticker on them with 3 numbers, obvious are the weight on balance point, but I am not sure about the last number 291 & 296. Is this swingweight? Specs say 309.
Also, and this may be me being too anal, but although I asked that they be strung the same (Gosen sheep micro 17@ 57 #), they have a slightly different pitch when struck. Is this only due to differences in tension or can there be enough variation in the racquets to make them sound different. Thanks, P_ |

Different pitch when strung? You mean picking the string with your finger? How do you make the sound? It would be better to use a measuring device for a comparable tension measurement such as stringmeter.
