Where's Esther Vergeer at the 2013 AO?

She has something over 500 straight wins in women's wheelchair tennis..and I was shocked that she wasn't competing this year at the Aussie Open. Does anybody have any news if she is injured or what? Can't find anything on it..

I know she married her long time (abled) coach recently...maybe going to have kids? idk

Well according to her twitter account she said she's at a little tournament by the JCfoundation? but "not as a player but as a coach"...not sure if this means she retired?

Maybe ASH SMITH knows as he is coaching the British kids at Tarbes?
Looks like she is out there coaching...

Esther has announced this morning that she has retired from tennis, 10 years unbeaten and 470 matches. Best wishes to her in whatever she decide to do next..
