Nadal's knee will not last long if he persists with moonballing from 12 feet behind thew baseline as he is playing much of this match. The big boys will run him ragged. Even Zeb is making him look ordinary when he plays back there.

The players need to think of what the Chilean miners endured and win it for them.

Yes. All ATP run events have been best of 3 tiebreak sets in every match since the start of 2007.

Cut the guy some slack. It is his first competitive week in months and he is playing a guy who is inspired.

I sense a break here. The opponent is over committing.

The Spanish commentary is disgusting. They're not even TRYING to pretend they are rooting for Nadal. They should get fired straight away.

On reflection as fans are we expecting too much. The guy he is playing is doing very well and it can't be easy to dig deep and get the same amount of energy when you have been away from tennis for 6 months

Time warning. Has Nadal received any this week? He seems to be playing pretty fast.

If you're trying to hold clarky's place, you're actually doing a really bad job. No offence. Clarky is not posting probabaly because she's screaming at the tv and trying to find the words to describe this turn of events.

Nadal still struggling to return Zebs funky serve. His ball toss is way back over his head on all serves. Nadal is standing so far back he will not get near swinging serves.
