Someone coming back from a long injury break enters singles and doubles? Hmmm.

Why is it that injured players such as Del Potro, Blake, Hewitt etc struggle after long breaks from the game but Nadal comes back stronger as if nothing happened? The silent ban seems like a loud possibility.

Shhh, not so loud.

The truth is that Nadal is a much greater player than players like Del Potro, Blake and Hewitt so what we can expect from him is not the same as what we saw from those other players. I know it hurts if you are a Fed fan but it is the truth.

It wouldn't have been so bad if he had only entered singles. Big mistake on the part of Uncle Foni.
I find no suspicion in playing both singles and doubles. He wants match play, dubs aren't too stressful and he's pairing with his buddy.

If you think Nadal has come back stronger than he was when he left you're not paying attention. He's playing like crap.

And didn't Delpo win Delray shortly after his return in 2011?

I am, don't get me wrong...but I am bored and until he and Murray play in the same tournament I have nothing positive to say about Nadal. In fact I don't even dislike Nadal much, I just like the mob-like behaviour fuelling the silent ban theory.

Exactly! We all know that Vina del Mar is the REAL Slam. 7 French Open titles are worthless compared to 1 Vina del Mar title!
