Default Pain when holding weight with straight arm

Just wonder if this is just TE or something else. The pain I experience is not exactly at the traditional TE spot, but I fell the pain (or tenderness) when the arm is relatively straight, holding something with something weight like a large cup of coffee.

Anybody experienced this can give some comment?

If the pain is near the elbow joint, then yes, I have experienced this and it is tennis elbow. Holding a gallon of milk with a relatively straight arm was near impossible due to the pain when my elbow was bad. I have several tennis friends that said the same thing - hold any weight of consequence out away from the body hurts at the elbow.
