Default Advice on PT57A set up

Hello,

I have a Head PT57A MP FXP Rdical paint job with CAPS
It weighs 310 grams unstrung with Head Calf leather grip, it has no lead under CAPS however handle is full of Silicone.
I would like to have frame weigh about 340 grams strung, and 7.points HL with a swingweight of about 330 ish.

Where should I add lead to achieve these specs

Thanks in advance

It depends on the current balance.. and also the type of string, if you use a thicker gauge poly the string is already 20g, plus your overgrip and dampener leaves only about 4g for lead to achieve the 340g strung weight.. I would guess all lead at 12 to achieve the swingweight.

All measurements of what you have and then what you want should be UNSTRUNG. Because then you have no variables. Also I think the racquet looks much better without any lead showing. But that is just personal preference. TW has a nice easy program that will tell you where and how much weight to add to get what you want.

All you need is a scale and a balance board.

I put all my lead at the head I think the PT57a is excellent polarized. Incredible amounts of spin in my opinion.

Hey all,
Set up the frame today with the following.
10 grams lead in total
6@3-9
4@12
Changed pallet and enlarged but cap
Strung with vs gut 17g and Solinco tour soft 16L 51/49
Og and dampener,
Specs strung
Weight : 350 gr
Flex: 54
Balance: 29.5 cm ( initial feel too headlight)
Swingweight: 329

Anxiously waiting to hit , will do Tom for two hours

Considering adding another 4 grams at 12

Frame feels very solid in hand surprisingly
