Default Would you support a reissue of the k6.1 90?

Just a little wishful thinking here, but I'd be more than willing to buy a reissue of one of these. I think they're probably an all time classic!

Agree/disagree?

I would support it, even though I prefer the BLX90 over k90. Still don't know why people go nuts over a k90. They're identical to me, except one plays crisper, and the other one plays softer.

Now we all know that's not true. It's only a matter of time someone comes in and bashes one or the other, claiming: "I can't hit my shots with X, but I can get all of them in with the other."

Hell yes, my old K-90's are beaten up. Wilson most likely will never re-release these bad boys, which might be a good thing in the future. Could sell for $200+ in 10 years time when Federer retires and all of the newer 90's suck.

not the same, true, but really close enough.

your 2nd half of the post just proved my point. if you can bagel federer with one, but cant with the other, its not the racket dude......

Same goes with the newer Pro Staff BLX 90, there's like a 10% difference and I'm being generous.

I think people associate the k90 with Federer's more dominant years, so it goes into the head that the k90 is the best? But really...

It's the nearly identical but a paintjob and some marketing BS.

For me, the k90's paintjob is the gold standard for all rackets. Lol for Del Potro too I guess!

Wilson also appears to have tweaked the locations of mass in the BLXPS. People seem to be of two minds about that when I read their reviews.

I say bring back the nCode 90 or PS 6.0 paintjob. The K90 paintjob is just hideous.

Hijack:

Wilson needs to bring back the Ultra FPK 95 and bring back\create a real PS 95, not this toy they made now.

It would be a dream if I can have my BLX90 in PS 6.0's no-nonsense matte black paintjob.

People hated the n90 and were really glad to see it go after the k90 replaced it. I remember it like it was last month and remember how much I personally hated it with the weight and the stiffness. That frame wasn't good and the k90 was such an improvement over it.

I owned the Tour 90 and n90. The k90 beats both hands down.

Are you kidding? That frame is not an "all time classic." From your mouth to god's ears. Seriously.

Del Potro is using a HPS 6.1 95. And the paintjob is from a K95 btw.

Again I don't understand how people can hate one and love another when the series have remained more or less the same with each generation.

Do I see preferences? Yes, but if I can't use my BLX90 for some reason, I'd gladly use another version of the Tour/Pro Staff 90 because they're all nearly identical.

1) It's the crispest/supposedly liveliest Pro Staff/Tour 90. And apparently a lot of people say they love it. The funny thing is, of the few guys I know and have used the k90 didn't care for it at all. They've moved onto other versions of the Pro Staff/Tour 90.
2) Federer went ape-sh!t on the tour with this paintjob.
