Default Will Dimitrov make it to the Rotterdam Finals and have his destined meeting with Fed?

He only has to go through Baghdatis(beat in three sets a month ago) and then most likely Delpo. He's beaten Tomic and Davydenko, both of which were very dangerous opponents so he could be extremely in form for his next matches.

Anyone else think he can make it to the finals and face Federer, his idol?

Yeah, he definitely can. will he? Haha

As preview for his match tomorrow: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlndrwhkKwI

Nice highlights of a very good match. Young Grigor's talent well displayed. Some points shown with a very cool diagonal court-level view. Puttin on a show for mum and da.

This is a little more recent and it's on hard court, tough one especially seeing as how they most likely played against each other a lot during the AO(doubles team)

Too early to tell. But it's not just about him. Both Baghy and DelPo are playing well; Richie just got his second title, and Baghy took him out … and everybody was raving about Gulbis, and DelPo disposed of him pretty neatly. So it's not just up to the Grigor; both his opponents would have to have off days as well.

Whom does he meet next – Baghy?

If he beats Baghdatis which i think he will, might be a close match though. He should win though

I'd give him a 50/50 shot at Baghdatis but a very low chance to beat Delpo. He would have to play probably the best match of his life to win if Delpo is in form.

Wow, there must have been some erotic backhand exchanges there.

I think there is a high possibility that Dimitrov has long analysed all of federers strokes, techniques, method of play and more because federer was and is the best guy on tour. By copying his strokes obsessively and I don't doubt a coach either being the one with the idea - reinforced this over the years. I think it worked because the guy clearly has talent and coupled with a proven set of techniques and strokes the best man in history does he was sure to break through.

It would be a dream final if they do meet.

There's a live stream for that match starting in an hour or so:

Other matches are shown live too.

I think Dimitrov is the most talented young player on tour.

I do think he will make his breakthrough this year.

Not sure it will be here though, I think he might lose to Baghdatis in 3 sets.

He is starting to post better results on a more consistent basis and needs a good run at a slam now as well. If he can do that then can be in top 20 by end of the year.

I was wrong.

Good win in 3 sets for Dimitrov.

Nice to see him win from a set down.

He has good variety and moves well.

If he plays Del Potro and has a chance of winning then has to get him on the move, if Del Potro dictates play with his forehand then he will win.

Too inconsistent. You know he's bound to have a bad match soon.

Delpo in the Semi's, Dimitrov still on fire, this should be a promising match even if he loses.

On a side note I was looking at some news articles about Dimitrov at Rotterdam and found this hilarious face.

Dimitrov is destined NEVER to meet Fed. They had the chance in Basel last year but I think Grigor blew it against PHM in the quarters.

I think it'll be Fed-Delpo in the final. But I would love to see Fed play Dimitrov at some point.
