Adidas just introduced their new cushioning technology called boost:

Is it going to overcome Nike Lunarlon?

I saw this the other day, I can see the technology behind it, but I need to see if they work in running shoes first.

That's a good thing because the cushioning on the adidas adizero cc feather II is not very good.

My concern is that it might be too soft for tennis shoes and the cushioning won't provide enough stability. Hopefully they perfect the use of boost in tennis shoes.

Might have to do some boost enclosed EVA, like how they're using adiprene.
I don't see that kind of material standing up to constant dragging and sliding

That material is a midsole material, not an outsole material.

I believe Gasolina is using "dragging and sliding" to refer to the lateral movements in the sport of tennis. Runningers feet and shoes only travel in one direction: forward. It looks like the boost material is only made for running shoes since i would guess that if you stretched it in different directions, it would essentially rip.
