Dang. Didn't mean to hit reply. Continuing on...

2. great touch on drop shots and at the net
3. point and shoot
4. string doesn't move and lasts 20+ hours
5. arm friendly

Negatives

1. Loss of power on serve (may decrease tension a few lbs to see if it will help)
2. Loss of power on defensive backhand

In queue to try:

Mantis comfort synthetic
Yonex 850
Head Rip control
Wilson NXT control

Also a fan of Wilson NXT. Tried PSGD but too mushy (even at high tension). I think I have found the right string, possibly still looking for the right racket.

Sonic Pro 17 in my Microgel Extreme MP. Soft on my arm and allows me to take a big cut and keep it in play.

I've used RPM Blast 16 on every racket I've had. Usually about 55lbs.
Gives great spin and power and nice feel (it's very easy on arm for a full poly)
It never breaks and doesn't lose it's pop as soon as some other polys. Also it's not stiff at all. It has the same flexibilty and feel as natural gut.

Wilson NXT on a Dunlop 4D 300. I've tried a gambit of similar level strings and for me the NXT was the best. I've heard great things about the Gamma LiveWire. Maybe I'll string backup raquet with it and try it out.

The NXT is just overall a great string. Very playable, not to mention very good on the arm. It does take some breaking in and is pretty expensive, but its the best non gut string out there IMHO.

Head RIP Control 16 @ tons of different tensions on all my rackets!

I love this string and was super lucky to find it near the very beginning of my playing career. It's super soft once broken in, lots of spin, and very good durability. Plus it's cheap to boot! I also love it for the net, wicked touch for me, and next to gut it does everything well. Also it does really well in the humidity here for me. Negligible tension loss as well!

Overall my favorite string, and it keeps my body and game happy!

BB Ace 112 on YT Rad MP customized to same specs as pro. It just gives me very consistent deep shots without the worry of it sailing long. Similar to Sonic Pro actually, just better in spin and power.

It depends on the racket I'm putting it in...

Right now in my Bio max 200g's I have Dunlop ICE at 53/56.

But Black Widow is my 2nd favorite.

1. I find it to be somewhat stiff.
2. It never breaks because it loses tension before you can pop it.
3. Dead poly has lots of pop.
4. What brand of prosthetic limb do you have?
5. The only nat gut that it is close to is BT7 and el cheapo gut. And yes, that is an insult.

Now that's just my opinion.

Dunlop Hexy Fiber 16 is an excellent cross string. I string it 5 lbs. higher than the poly because it's a really soft string.

I have been using Pro's Pro BlackForce in my Prestige Pro's and love it. For me it has great spin, power, and feel. It does not last long for me I usually break them in 8-10 hours.
