OP, if you are legitimately rated a level too high, just play your matches, and particularly if you are able to play 8 matches, and you'll get moved down.
The system works for the majority of players, and for most of those that don't think it works, they are either a) good enough to be competitive at the level they are at but just want to clean-up at the lower level or b) have a higher opinion of their game than they can demonstrate on the court. I don't recommend gaming the system as it should (IMHO) result in players being banned from play or at least having suspect matches thrown out. It is hard to conclusively determine this of course, but if it is obvious enough and there are complaints, it could happen. |

They weren't very generous when I tried the appeal a year ago, but I actually became a 4.0C at the end of the year anyway. With this and the 40+ leagues, I might actually end up playing 4 matches in a weekend.
