Why isnt there an "odds and ends" section only for tennis matters???? Why does my tennis thread have to be next to a thread saying "I love techno"?? Dont get me wrong, i love tecno as much as the next guy! Not least the latest stuff from Dolly Parton, i could go on, but does it really belong next to a thread about tennis?? I dont think so!

I agree. Non-tennis stuff needs to go.

Tennis odds and ends? What tennis post do you have in mind that wouldn't fit in an existing forum?

This coming from you is quite ironic.

I have several times been asked to move a thread from eg instruction section to odds and ends. Plenty tennis threads in the odds and ends section dont belong in any other currentlu existing section.

I believe the OP was proposing a separate a "Tennis Odds & Ends" section (a reasonable request) and not taking it upon himself to suggest who (and what) gets to post here by gutting the existing Odds & Ends section.

Odds & Ends is the new Rants and Raves.
What topic would not fit into one of the myriad tennis related categories that are already on the board? |

The "Tennis Odds and Ends" section already exists...it's just called "General Pro Player Discussion"!

Or maybe he meant the "Other Equipment" section where you can talk about sweatbands, bandanas, visors, and where you can buy a western grip.

Senti, are semi-western grips discounted, price-wise?

I guess I use "Adult League and Tournament Talk" like a tennis odds & ends, just because there's some interesting stuff. When they get into how to captain a team and DQs and ratings, boring...

I enjoyed Alimzhan Tokhtakhounov's posts in Rabts & Raves.

^ That's an image I haven't seen in years.
OP - are you looking for a subsection soley for tennis posts. I'm sure a court construction section could be created... ooh, nets, posts, lines, fun!

Why do posters ask for examples of what im talking about?? Just go to this section and see for urself! Or let me help u: A poll on best female players' legs (No not Azarenka!) does not belong in any other section but also not next to "Obama DID call it a terrorist attack!" |

Yup, semi-western half-price of full-western, amigo. For eastern and conti, pls ask Breakpoint. He sells those.
