Default Kirschbaum Pro Line Evolution

So normally I like using a textured string on the mains ( Not sure if correct term, string with edges like Volkl Cyclones or Dunlop Black Widow in my case Kirschbaum Spiky Shark Black ) with multis on the cross, but recently my friend gave me a set of Pro Line Evolution and told me to do a full set. So I strung it up at 58lbs and played with it for about an hour and fell in love with it. Has anyone else tried the Pro Line Evo? I really like it and was curious if anyone else uses it and has and wanted to read other opinions.

Yes. Its one of the best polys around. I used a full bed of 18 gauge at 22kg. Very soft and nice. Not tons of spin like solinco tour bite (my acutal string right now), but good enough spin. Great string

Love PLII Evolution. My personal favorite. It does everything well. Looking forward to stocking up if it ever goes back on sale

Does Evolution hold tension noticeably better than Pro Line 2?

I never gave PLII a fair shot. I tried Evolution first and I felt comfortable using it for over 15 hours of play. PLII had a slicker feel to me and I prefer a pocketing feel. I cut them out after 5 hours of play.

Have any of you tried proline evo with a set of multis? I don't want to waste a half set of the polys let alone waste a half set of good multis. What do you guys think good combo yay or nay?

I have tried it with gut and find it lasts about 10 hours. Evo has more power than PL2 for those that might be interested in this string.

Pro Line Evolution is my second choice of strings after Tour Bite Soft, PLE is a good string and is easy on the arm while providing a lot of spin, plus it's blue

How does Evolution compare to Pro Line X and Helix?

I have several sets of proline evolution I'd be willing to sell for cheap if anyone wants to give this a try. Send me a message if you're interested.
