Default Strings used on Graphene Speed MP Playtest

Hi TW. Appreciate the video and written review. Was just wondering what strings you used for the play test of the Speed MP? Did you find that a particular string or hybrid brought out the best in this racquet? Any suggestions, tensions, etc.. would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

YesTennis,

Sorry for the delayed response. The string is Volkl Cyclone 16.

Brittany, TW

Thanks Brittany. Did you find the full bed Cyclone to be optimal for the racquet? Do you have any other string recommendations? How do you think a gut mains/ poly cross set-up would be for this racquet? Thanks in advance

YesTennis,

We found a full bed of Cyclone great for this frame. This stems partly from the fact that our testers have long, fast strokes and tend to prefer the feel, control and spin they get from poly-based strings. A natural gut hybrid would work well for someone who wanted to balance the firm control of a poly with the feel, comfort and power of gut. It's hard to know what set-up would work for you without knowing your stoke style and feel-preferences. In general though, there is nothing about the specs of this racquet that make it incompatible with either a full bed poly or a hybrid.

Thanks,
Jon
