Default String Pattern

Can't find the string pattern for a Head Radical Tour OS. 18x19. Anyone have it? Also, I want to string it at 45 lbs. I want to see what all fuss is about re: lower tensions....

Thanks/Don

Which version? FP, LM, MG, YouTek, IG YouTek, etc.

In my Stringers Digest, I have the Radical Tour OS (690) and XL. Both have the same pattern. Except the 690 has a tensions range 1 lb higher than the XL model. 59-69 lbs (690) and 58-68 XL.

Two Piece: 21' M and 17'X
Start mains at H
Mains Skip: 8T, 10T & 9H
Tie off mains at 7T
Crosses Start at 9H
Crosses End at 8T
Crosses Tie off at 6H & 5T

Try these links.

Is it 18/19 string pattern?
Main string holes H: 1-8,9,11 T: 1-7,9,11
Tie-off holes 6H
Start crosses 9H
Method two piece
Lengths 6.40 m (21') / 5.49 m (18')
Lengths are normal
String high stretch

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks all. I tried the sites you suggested before I asked on this forum. Nada. The racquet is a Head Radical Tour OS. 18x19. Nothing else on racket other than tension range 60-68.

Thanks/Don

There is only ONE Radical Tour OS, which is Radical Tour 690 OS. Its tension range is 59-69.
I think it is close enough to what you have. Check the grommet holes to see if what's suggested make sense. Likely it is the one.

I think this should be it.
This is the String pattern for HEAD Radical OS Limited Edition Racket(not sure if there's a difference between this and the tour OS string pattern wise)

18 Mains / 19 Crosses
Mains skip: 8T, 10T, 9H
Two Piece
No Shared holes

Looking at the grommets shows me shared holes and the tension range on throat label is 60-68lbs. I'm confused!

so, the racket is unstrung.

you are seeing shared holes, it seems. based on what?
maybe they are tie off holes? maybe the racket was not strung properly before (the "evidence" by grommet wear etc).
or maybe due to flipping the racket, it looks such?

some pics might help.
i've been known to take pics of rackets before cutting out strings, but even then you have to double check, etc.

post 'em up!!

Unstrung. One of my racquets which I have strung before. Double looking grommets/stretched probably tie offs as you suggested.

18 main racket skips either 8 & 10 or 9 at the top and/ or bottom except for fan pattern which you don't have. All mains are parallel and the strings on the outside can not be closer together than the center strings. If there are 19 empty grommet holes left on each side (and there will be) there are no shared holes. Why do you need a pattern?
