He's also been broken 4 times this week by much weaker opponents.

Is the crowd behind Stan? They're roaring really loudly now when he wins a point.

What did Almagro do to **** Stan/the crowd off? The crowd really behind Stan now. You would think he is a local judging by the roars from the crowd each time he wins a point.

They probably don't want to see another pounding by Daveed on Nico

I'm really glad Stan can get some crowd support. He always seem like the underdog in matches and isn't favoured much. After the match against Seppi in Rome where he was booed heavily, I felt quite sorry for him.

Stan breaks! Serves for the match now.

Loving the crowd cheering for Stan. Got the break. Cmon! Almagro out of another clay 250 before reaching the finals

Did anyone catch that at the end? The volume on my stream is too low.

Awesome to see Stan in a final singles once again, been too long. Really hope he takes this one.

What were they talking at the end? Glad that Almagro gave a the handshake at the end and nothing nasty happened.

Really happy for Stan! He should be due for another title and it will boost his confidence even more.

Not going to happen. Stan's a better chance to win tomorrow over Nico, but a better chance does not = going to win.

Ferrer's an absolute beast on clay. This is his tourney.

Great win for Stan...I only matched to catch the brief highlights but there seemed to be an exchange of words between the players at the end of the match.

At the handshake you can hear Stan staying.."when you beat me I'm always ok"...Anyone know what he was referring to??

I remember wawrinka taking Djokovic to 10-12 in the fifth in a 5 hour match at djokovics best grandslam tournament only a month ago, oh yeh! And Ferrer lost to Djokovic in the same tournament in about 90 minutes~

In other news, Rosol is the greatest clay player ever.

It just doesn't work like that.

Sorry but Djoko at AO has 0 relevance to a 250 final between Ferrer and Wawa on clay. Ferrer is the title holder, he is 6-3 vs Wawa overall (before this final), is a much better clay player (20 finals vs 5 for Wawa). He's also #4 vs #17 for Wawa and he's the player who won the most titles in 2012. How could he not be a massive favorite for this match
