Default SHO/SHO w/tune or RT/SRT8

Inquiring minds want to know…

If I have to explain the acronyms; you don’t know what I’m talking about in the first place

Well, I'll never drive American, so I'm the wrong person to ask. What's the price difference?

RT/SRT8 are solid cars. Solid engine and strong transmission and loads of torque. The only thing is the front end suspensions are a little weak but it can be rectified easily with aftermarket parts.

The SHO pretty much only comes loaded, and Ford must be selling enough of them because they don't offer too many rebates on it. The Dodge on the other hand can be had bare bones and there seems to be alot of money the dealer will offer you.

Starting price the SHO is like 7-9K more; similarly equipped and the difference is about 3-4K more for the Ford.

The SHO is a V6+turbo and the RT/SRT8 is a V8. The SHO is AWD (probably front biased) and the SRT8 is RWD (does SRT8 has AWD?)

According to my expert googling skill, the only AWD SRT8 is the Jeep.

So you're buying new. I guess I can't argue with that. As far as the choice goes, the Challenger SRT8 is my idea of beautiful (you can guess which decade I was in grade school...)

What about a mustang GT or boss 302? But sounds like you are looking for a sedan?

Yea I need the space, I pretty much made up my mind. I want the SHO (I find its quality to be higher and its more comfortable day to day but can still haul *****), but I'm going to wait a little longer. Supposedly a new model is coming out in 2014/15 with even more power and updated platform...

You can also check out the 300 SRT8, exactly the same car as the charger but more upscale looking. But really you have to test drive both the SHO and SRT8. The V8 and RWD are always more fun to drive.
