Default Federer is so much fun!!! Djokovic so boring

Djokovic can be the world no.1 but Federer's tennis is so much more enjoyable. Yesterday I had so much fun watching Roger playing with Davydenko.

There were 2 completely different matches.

Federer - Davydenko: refreshing aggressive tennis. Lot's of combinations... lot's of fun
http://www.tennistonic.com/tennis-ne...semis-in-Dubai

Djokovic - Seppi: as boring as ever. Seppi's game didn't help.

Baby Federer... tryi to grow fast... we need excitement in the game!

I agree. Even when Fed plays a much lower ranked player he somehow manages to make the match entertaining. Djoker, on the other hand, in a mismatched situation literally puts me to sleep. In fact i did fall asleep during his match with Bautista-Agut. It wasn't until B-A suddenly started playing better and the crowd woke me up with their cheering that it got interesting.

Fed is more popular than Djesus for a reason. Djesus is probably the least likeable #1 player I have ever seen in all the years I have been watching tennis.

Djokovic has a steady, grind-you-into-the-dust type of game. If you enjoy watching robots go about their business, then maybe Djoker is your man.

On the other hand, Federer plays with style and grace, mixed with beauty and guile. That's why he's so enjoyable to watch.

Two almost completely opposite styles. One puts you to sleep with its repetition and monotony. The other wakes you up and brings a smile to your face as you marvel in its mastery.

the problem with Novak's game is that most players are the same style as his nowadays (baseline grinders/retrievers) so when he plays a lower ranked guy like seppi, he is effectively playing a lesser version of himself.

homogenised courts = homogenised players
more court diversity is needed so we can see what makes Novak and his types special. Novak Vs. Murray at AO final this year wasn't as interesting as Wawrinka Vs. Novak, or Federer Vs. Murray. Because Murray and Novak are too similar in style.

Imagine if all players were big servers like Isner and Roanic... Boring. Too similar.

Federer contrasts well with so many players because he has such a diverse style. Can retrieve from baseline, can hit flat and powerful through the court, can hit with spin, can serve big and volley and can be an all courter... all in the same set or even game.

Really? I find Nole more exciting overall (Not his game) but his demeanor and crazy personality especially after big wins. Fed's game is aesthetically pleasing to watch (not the most fun to watch though) but his demeanor and personality? Id rather watch a dog lick itself to be quite honest. Fed's personality and demeanor is BORING. His game from 2005-present is actually more boring then it was when he was from 2001-2003

No doubt. Djokovic/Murray/Ferrer/Nadal's tennis are boring, when they play each other I can't digest 2 hours, I always record and watch the rest later.

Interesting how they swap the roles once they leave the courts....
Federer becomes a stuck up, money loving, always same crap Swiss, and Novak turns into open minded, fun and free speaking guy...

Federer's style is probably going to remain the best and most enjoyable to watch, for a long time. His movement, floating on the court, smooth shots and limited court emotions are indeed pure joy to watch.
It even becomes more entertaining when he is getting his ***** kicked and when he puts some emotions into it....

Djokovic plays PONG boring tennis.

Federer plays the most beautiful and exquisite game ever seen in the sport of tennis.

EXACTLY!! A lot of matches with players playing the exact same type of tennis with one being more talented than the other. No variation aside from the occasional exciting point where a net approach gets mixed in despite their best efforts.

A potential Djokovic-Murray wimbledon final.

Only Federer can save current tennis for insomniacs. Remember the AO final this year?

Your posts never cease to amaze me with your closed mindedness. Either you are blinded by your hatred of Federer or you really know nothing about tennis.
