This article states that Redfoo is currently "coaching" his mixed doubles partner. WTF?

The publicity stunt is working.

Lol, let the guy do as he pleases.
If he wants to play in the US Open National Playoffs then let him play in the US Open National Playoffs. At the very least he is attracting more attention towards tennis here in the United States and we could all use more of that. |

Nah.. RedFoo is a a pretty good player (at least 4.0) from what I've seen. Don't think it took much coaxing from the USTA to get him to sign up... if any coaxing at all. But I'm sure the publicity factor was/is on their minds.

Who cares for this terrible singer and stop calling him a music sensation. He is just a weirdo who made it big without any singing talent.

Well he apparently played a lot of juniors in SoCAL so that might mean he isn't so bad. I'd be interested to see how good he is.

Bode Miller (the ski racer), who is a much better player than RedFoo, tried it too, and lost 6-1, 6-0 in the opening local qualifying round.
