In trying to match a few frames with the TW SW Calculator, it occured to me that you can have 2 frames with same weight/SW but different balance, or you can have 2 of the same weight/bal but different SW. I've always just thought of the balance as more or less a way to change SW. I'm curious if anyone has a sense of the difference in changing SW vs changing balance (while the other is unchanged).
e.g. Start : 335g, 340SW, 6HL Mod 1: 335g, 340SW, 7HL Mod 2: 335g, 335 SW, 6HL How would Mod 1 and Mod 2 play differently? Last edited by keithfival : 03-26-2013 at 07:29 AM. |

Mod 1 should swing a little slower and have more power than mod 2.
So if you are swinging fast and want a little more weight and plow, you would want mod 1. For a little more head speed, and less plow - mod 2.

Yeah I don't see how those mods would be possible.

When I matched the SW on these sticks two of them came out 336g and 343 SW, but one 7HL and the other 6HL. That's what made me wonder.
