Hi, I play 4 times a week on red clay courts only, and I can spend only in one pair of shoes that will have to last me some time. Can you please tell me which of these two models should I get, in other words which has the best performance and is very durable, the Barricades 3 or the Clima Feathers
Thanks. |

I have both shoes, and if I played ONLY on clay, I'd use the Feathers. I use the Barricades on hard, and the Feathers on green clay. I think the Barricades are too bulky and heavy for clay.

It might depend on your size and how they fit you. For me, they were too heavy for clay. The tread is fine for clay; mostly herringbone. But I'm 5'9" 130#, and I prefer a lighter shoe for clay. If you don't mind a heavy shoe on clay, then they'll perform fine.
