Default How to set tension in main and crosses for my racquet? Please help...

I tried multifilament on my racquet and it broke quick due to movement. So I tried multifil main and poly cross and the mains still breaks due to movement. Now I still have 1/2 of the poly and 1/2 of the multi left, I am thinking about putting poly in main and multi in crosses.

I am using Prince Diablo whose tension range is 58+-5lbs

Last time I strung I put 58 lbs multifil main and 55 poly cross.

Now I want to put Poly in Mains at 55 lbs, but I dont know whether the tension in the mulifil crosses should be going higher than 55, at 55, or lower than 55.

Thanks in advance...

Just put it at the same tension. It won't hurt

If you liked the power/control at 58 lbs, then just do 55 in the mains with the poly, and 58 with the crosses, it will feel similar to your older set ups, but also stop string movement.
