I took a set off this guy for the first time and i think it was because of my strings, volkl v-rex. I felt more confident hitting my second serves. My groundstrokes were more consistent and the guy was having a hard time timing my shots because of the spin. He kept saying he was hitting the ball late and when he got used to it, it was too late. This is my only my second time using polyester strings. The first time i hated how stiff they were. This time I didn't mind the stiff feel too much and Im really excited about this.
One thing I noticed though is that i couldn't get much power when i tried to hit flat on the serve and forehand. Are there any polys that have good power when hitting flat? does hybriding help much with the power? I also like a crisp feel but not stiff. |

Try the Unique Tourna Poly Big Hitter 17. It feels very similar to Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power but is much cheaper. This way, when playability gets bad, you can cut it out with no worries.
