Yes, very little. I'm pretty sure just because they do for the WTA tour.

The qualifying is a tournament of its own. Each round of an ATP qualifying tourney gets paid. The amount depends on the prize money of the main tourney.
Smaller tier three events, a first round qualy loser may get a few hundred bucks and will increase with each round. The first round qualy losers at the US Open get over $2 grand. First round main draw losers get arount $12 grand at the Open. |
