Sampras used the St. Vincent frames.

TW sells the Chinese frames. The only ones manufactured now.

Soo much desire for that magical St Vincent racket ...

Unless you are a very high level player (open) you probably will not be able to tell any diff between the original prototype chicago, the St Vincent or the later Tiawons or China models.

The PS 6.0 is a great players racket, just find a recent model in the best possible condition, many new models can still be found, and enjoy the racket.

The Chiao Ta ones are not Taiwanese, they are Chinese made. They seem a lot more headlight and feel slightly lighter. Some of them say 11.9 pts HL on the throat, some of them don't.

HL means head light. And the Chinese models are the lighter, more head light ones. If you didnt know what headlight means, its nothing but to which end of the racquet the weight is distributed or aligned.

How would I know if I haven't played with the other varieties?

The China made seems to be the least stiff, that's what I heard.

Relax, just play with whatever 6.0 85 you have.

You know what i am confused because,
When eveyone see me that i play with a Wilson ProStaf 6.0 Midsize 85 they tell me that i am a crazy man and that this is very funny ,that noone can play with this raquet, and only one person has made something with it.They told me that i want to extravagant that i am something like a "racquet snobs" ( because i am normal boy and that i am trying to make impression-to be like Sampras or other good player who is or was at the top of ATP)I felt very bad because everyone i thinking that i want to be different (but i realy like this raquet so i see noting wrong ) to make impression and to imitate someone with my raquet ,conduct and play.I am like a harmless creature admidst enemies because i amdifferent.I don't think that this is a "perversion" because i am playing with Wilson ProStaf 6.0 Midsize 85.
I have tested many raquets and from little age i want ot buy a raquet with flat beam and midsize head so as BreakPoint said
"The racquet that plays the best is the racquet that YOU play the best with."
It's now up to you .Be differnt ,play extravagant and be yourself.

Sampras himself used to emulate Rod Laver... and who gives a flying monkey what other ppl think anyway? You can imitate any player you want, as long as he has a positive impact on your tennis, or conduct.

SAMPRAS

be more concerned with your game, than others' talk. focus on your results. if you can win with 6.0 8, stay with it, if not, try something else.

but it's a very good racquet for learning, any time.

Wrong, Courier is another, Edberg in the beginning too, Chris Evert, Mary Pierce, etc... though Sampras was the only one that stuck with it after many years, to great success.

Even "IF" you really did want to be like or imitate someone else than there's nothing wrong with that. That's "their" problem for having a problem with you; it's not "your" problem!

Just think about how this world would be like if there were not any influences.

Good day now.

Edberg stuck with it the whole time. If you watch closely, his racquet was painted to look like a 6.1 but the beam width was really really thin to be a 6.1

SAMPRAS - who do you normally play tennis against and what are your results like when you use the Prostaff?

For example i am playing with the bulgarian champion for 18 years Valentin Dimov

and Sesil Karatancheva

and she told me that i am playing my best with this racquet but Valentin's father told me that "we"(everyone)should play with 95head size and 300-315 gr.
The other one who plays with me for ex.

This was for 1998 his best was 200 (bad) but now he has an injury(a good boy)
he told me that the sweetspot is little and it's good on hard but on clay you have to be very powerfull to make good shots .
So i don't know what to do??
