Gut date of manufacture code?

Anyone have info if the major gut mfgs. code their packages to tell when the string was produced? Since there is no warrantee on gut, my customers supply their own. Would be nice to know for me and them if we are dealing with old or new string.

this would be good info!!!

tho i would think that anything in TW's stock is pretty new, considering it goes out of stock every few months...

those $60 sets @ local tennis shops (like Omega in NC) are probably OLD!!!
