5-3 Ancic in the 3rd set, Bags serving to stay in the match and make Mario serve for it.

5-4. If there ever was a time to break Mario's serve in this game this is it! Go for it Marcos!

Ancic has been just too good, especially with the serve, i thought Bags could have doned better attacking his second serve.

He has a lot of pressure on him from now on. The weight of Cyprus Sports on his shoulders, the Pres. deferring his military. Did you see him coming on the court? He looked like a scared rabbit.

Ljubicic defeated Andreev in two sets - 7:6, 6:4! The last game in the match was on Ljubicic's serve and he was literally serving for the match. He missed on 6 or 7 of his serves making two double faults in that game alone. He also hit two aces, finishing the match with one!

And now if Ancic wins we'll have a Croatian QF ..damn that draw. Good job for Mario.
I didn't watch it...so was Mario's game that good or did "destined for greatness" and a "possible God" Baghdatis just switch off after AO? |

Rafa's comeback seems to go smoothly.
A straight set win against Simon. Again, Nadal mixed up the serve well. |

But, I was very surprised to see Davydenko lose to Korolev. I like that guy. He seemed to try to get back in the match in the second set, but fell short and lost it in tie break. Anyone know what happened? |

Mixed up the serve? He played like crap in the first set. I couldn't believe he came back in that set after being down 2-5.
He did claw his way back, but as he himself said, he's far from being in top form. But it was enough to win, and he did play a lot better in the second set. But he's coming back from an injury, and just feeling his way back into things, and the reason he won yesterday and today is because of his fighting spirit. And that's what we fans love about him. He just doesn't give up! |

I saw some video of Rafa playing an exhibition with Fabrice.
He was leaning down near the net and he joked around. |
