Stan Wawrinka has alot of potential. His results and rankings are certainly heading in the right direction. He played a superb match against Nalbnadian at the AO, and his one-handed backhand seems to be a real weapon. Certainly capable of breaking the top 10 very soon. He was the only player I saw use the FP Presitige in the main draw at Aus Open.

I saw him at the Rogers Cup this summer. He's pretty good. Top 10 not so fast. Top 20 is in his reach. Maybe he can look at the top 10 in a year.

This matchup has the most ridiculous moneyline I have ever seen. I think Wawrinka was +2650 and Federer was -3825. You win $26.50 for every $1.00you bet on Wawrinka to win.

Those moneylines are actually pretty common for Federer matches. The Australian Open odds were even more extreme. I think Federer was -9000 for his 1st round match there.

People seems to assume that Federer aint gonna have a bad day.

One day when Federer blinks, someone is going to laugh all the way to the bank...

How does it work? Can anyone participate in this? 'cause I'd definitely throw in a couple of bucks.

But on all those other days when Federer doesn't blink, the bookies are going to chuckle all the way to the bank after taking a little bit from all of those people that thought that maybe THIS is the match where Federer blinks...

Wawi was playing VERY well! Much better than these results suggest. I haven't seen him before and was very impressed. It looked like he had a good chance at beatingn Fed in the first set. He has a first rate serve and killer backhand. His weakness in my opinion was his volleying. Not that it was bad, it just wasn't good enough against someone like Federer. Shame he had to meet Fed so early in the tournament.

12 winners vs 25 UE's for Fed. Not so clean.

My question is, is he wearing the ankle brace because he has gotten used to it, or is the ankle still a problem?
