Does anyone know if any of the Pros use a long body racquet (i.e. anything over the standard 27 inches and under the regulation 29 inches)? If so, is it typically only 27.5 inches at most?
Also do any of them use an oversized head? (More than 95 squares inches). If so, is it typically under 100 sq inches at most? Thanks Acer |

The POG longbody is 100 sq in. and 28 in. if I'm not mistaken. That racquet is used by a couple of pros. Agassi uses an OS racquet. Many pros use the Pure Drive supposedly, and that is 100 sq. in. William sisters have OS racquets as well if I'm not mistaken. There are probably more, but these are the ones I can currently think of.

I think Jan Michael Gambill used the Prince Thunderstick when that was out, I think it was 115 sq. in., 28". Quite a few players use the Prestige Classic XL, but most of the big names besides eventually Goran has stuck with the Prestige Classic 600. It seems like extra-longs go to mostly baseliners for more depth on their shots. Federer = 27", Roddick = 27.5", etc.
