Are they seriously playing now, at 12:30 AM? Wow.
Anyway, Henman was up a break, but Safin just broke back at love. I think Safin can potentially blow Henman off the court. You cannot handle that kind of pace at the net without a big serve to come in on. |

Another break to Henman. 3-1.
12:30am? I wouldn't be surprised if they are both half-asleep... |

Henman wins 6-3 6-3. A great result for Tim. Now he's up against Lleyton.

Safin approached net 26 times, Henman approached 27 times, and Safin was slightly more successful. What?
Looks like Safin wasn't serving well and wasn't hitting his usual number of winners. What do you expect when you play at 1 AM. |

wow..this was the one I wouldn't have had predicted. Safin really went down easily. Hope Tim goes far...I suppose this is good for his confidence.

Richard Vach had Safin over Henman as the Tennix-X Punter's Lock of the Day yesterday...nice job Richard. I had my money on Henman. Tennis-X Punter's Lock of the Day: Ljubicic over Vik. I'm going with Vik.

Henman has had some very good victories this year, but he can never seem to string together enough of them to go deep into tournaments. Took out Gasquet, T. Johannson, Lopez, Stepanek, and now Safin, all in this year. I don't think he beat that many quality players in the whole of last year (or at least not after Wimbledon).
Brutal second-rounder vs. Hewitt is coming up for Tim. Even considering how off Hewitt has been, Hewitt always does great against serve and volleyers because of his pinpoint groundstrokes. Never mind the fact that he can't seem to get much pace on them right now, his accuracy is dead on. Good luck to both of the them. |
