Hello Everyone
I would appreciate any feedback on the usefullness of the "Practicehit" gizmo to assist with the development of good form on groundstrokes. http://www.practicehit.com/practicehit_plus.htm Thanks Migeul Aleman |

I like it for the workout. I dont know how much actually transfers to the court. It is sort of like hitting against a wall. Hard to tell if your hit allowed the ball to stay in the court.
For kids it is great since you're usually teaching fundamentals. For beginners- intermediate it is also very good. A lot of times, I will have intermediate players drop a ball and hit, simulating a perfect stroke. The practicehit allows the same thing to happen except it has a timing element to it (fake ball bouncing back). So a little preparation is needed to coordinate the forward swing. Once I am done with the practicehit, i step back and feed a real ball. I go back further and further as they begin to master the timing. I loaded mine up with lead, so it doesn't move all over the place when it is struck. It is also hard to carry.
