I think it's the OS. In other words, 107 sq. inch head, 16 x 19 string pattern and standard (27 inches) length. I'm bad at figuring out things by looking a pics. So, please confirm, I've got this right.

That's right, it's an oversize.

He's essentially used a POG on and off for most of his career. I think he toyed with a O3 last year but was back using the POG. I think he also breifly was using a Head.

I think he's always used a 27" POG O/S. I usually get to see him play at the Masters Series when it's here end of summer so I'll make sure I see what he's using. I know last summer it looked like he was usuing the O3 Tour O/S

He was using some 03's at this year's Australian Open, but right after that I think he went back to his Graphites. And yes, he uses a standard length frame.

Yes, Spadea does use a 27" OS. I've strung his racquets many times. Prince POG, Prince Topspin 15L 72lbs, with the 'P' stencil up (matching the butt cap P)

He used the optic yellow string forever as well. Was never sure if it was Topspin or Syn Gut.

Sorry, I don't. I just wasn't thinking about it at the time. Last time I strung for him was at the Newsweek when it was called that and at the old site. His dad always dropped the sticks and string off and informed me that Vincent want's the 'P' up. A lot of players are like that, they want the stencil to match the logo on the butt cap.

Thanks. That sounds like one tight racquet....Anyone one else try this kind of tight?

Edit: Never mind. I see that these are unstrung, as they came from Jura's post. These translate to about 364g (12.84oz) and 12.16"(30.9cm) strung. |

The center of mass for the added 15g gives 7" (at the top of the grip).
This means that most of the mass is probably in the grip, with perhaps a few of the grams in the head to improve torsional stability. |
