Default Phillipoussis's Racquet

What are the things at the throat of his racquet? The grommets have something covering them or soemthing like that. Whatever it is, there is something near his grommets at the throat. What is it?

They say they give strings longevity , bbut I was told they actually give more power kind of like wilsons' power rollers . Check it out ask for them on your next string job.

i thought power pads were used to reduce the angle of the string entrance so that the string wouldn't break as easily?

Can you buy the power pads and then give them to the stringer? If so, where can I get them?

Any pro shop should have them & I mean cut perfectly for the string job. Where I get my rackets strung they will put them on if they deem fit to do so or @ requeat . If your pro shop does not have them find another place they evidently are not up to speed.
