You clearly misunderstood me. I am quite neutral and actually thought Federer would have won bearing in mind his better form going into the final. I just called it as i saw it and Fed was scared, especially in the first set!

In relation to grass i don't see any reason why Nadal can't reach the quarters on a regular basis. There are many reasons that support this view. Firstly, there are not too many talented s&v players anymore. Secondly, the grass courts at sw17 have slowed down dramatically. Thirdly, Nadal is seeded high enough generally to get easy draws till about 4th round/quarters. And finally most of the tennis being played on grass is at the back with mostly claycourters. All these factors favour Nadal doin well untill he meets a solid s&v/talented shotmaker. How many of these are around?

1. Does not bode well for Fed's chances to win Roland Garros.
2. I think it was to Nadal's advantage that he took some time off early in the year due to injury. While no one wisshes to suffer an injury, the time off makes him a little fresher forthe clay court grind.
3. Nadal will win Roland Garros and Fed wins Wimbledon. (Went way out on a limb on this one!!!)

You are a friggin' genius! The player who wins the 1st set usually wins the match. Did you have the balls to place a wager? I won $406 USD on Nadal. How much did you win?

But you said you were betting on Fed on Saturday? Did you bet on both players?

I had money on Fed to win 3-2 and Nadal to win 3-1.

posted by shawn122 : Remember, Federer said that he's coming closer to figuring out Nadal. So, its only a matter of time until we start seeing some double and triple bagels.

What are you saying fed is going to be bageling nadal.I will bet anybody on that one.Fed has not figured out a damn thing, fed also said nadal is one dimensional.

Fed is so full of himself+full of **** he doesnt even realize how stupid his ego maniac statements make him look!

I like it.

I wouldn't mind Federer being a badass (or jackass) more often.
