was not hard to look at, by any means.
I watched a WITC match of hers against Goolagong from 1975 last night. Had a hard time reconciling the baby-faced young woman I saw vs. the tiring veteran I watched in person against Graf and Navratilova in 1986. Evert was always well-spoken in victory or defeat. I miss her (although I don't miss her NBC telecaster performances). |

Too bad she's not as good a publisher as she was a tennis player.

Most likely she's just a figurehead to lend her name to the magazine. I seriously doubt Chris Evert performs a true publisher's role...It's a demanding profession with few openings, after all. Presumably Evert makes a few suggestions as to content, and the "Associate Publisher" does all of the real work. |

You know when the commentator (can't remember if it was Pancho or Chris) said that last night, I kept thinking Chris? (and she wasn't bad looking) what about Evonne!!!!! Man, when she was on tour, I thought she was the end all.
