Gosen String

Whats the difference between these strings and which should I get? I am probably going to use them for full jobs and for crosses

The top two are polyester strings, and the bottom one is regular synthetic gut. I'll probably get argument, but personally I think that bottom string is not very good at all. It lost tension faster than I was itching to cut it out. The polylon in your second pic is a very good, cheap polyester string with surprising feel for a polyester. I'd highly recommend it. The top one I haven't tried, although I'm thinking its basically the same thing just cooler looking color. If you got a power game as your name implies I'd go give gosen polylon a try.

I have not used the Polylon or OG Micro string yet but I have been using the Polylon Ice 17. To me it is a great polyester at a very affordable price. It is very durable string and I find it at the 17 gauge to be a soft polyester unlike some other brands. Overall, I think for the price it is a quality string. I am guessing the other Polylon is about the same but in a different color.

I think the Gosen Polylon is the better of the 3. Tried the Gosen poly ice and soft version of the string and it was to slick and did not have the feel. Switching to the Gosen Polylon, I dropped 3 pounds on tension. Poly has less stretch than other strings, if you have a drop weight stringer you will be able to see for yourself. It is a very good and lively string. The 17 gauge is the best, 16 plays a bit stiff.
Nice thing about Poly, it does not move around in your racket like other strings and loses less tension as you play.
