He may not win tomorrow. But one thing I'm confident of, and that is that Rafa is only going to get better. On all surfaces. Cripe, he's 19. He still learning, and I don't see him getting any worse. Do you?
I didn't say anything about his game. You're being plain creepy. "I feel like I'm his mother at times" WHAT THE ****?

Also, why would I want to do someone's laundry? That's a job for women. (lololollolol just kidding, I'm not a misoginyst)

Federer's getting lots and lots of chances here to finally take the Bull down. Eventually he will be successful. It may be tomorrow. Sit tight folks.

I, for one, think Roger will finally step up and leave the city of Rome with a W.

Well... Tomorrow, I although I would like to have one "crystal ball", but I think if ROGI not tolerate firm and is very well, Nadal will be able to do damage. Unfortunately for us ROGI's Fans, Nadal has very safe state in his game and unfortunately anything seems to shake him. However I believe that ROGI will be able to overcome this Nadal's Safety and ROGI will give us of Mother"s days his present WIN- ROGI. Here in Brazil commemorates tomorrow the MOTHER'S DAY.
Well I will be of crossed fingers, praying too much, my angels are already in Rome a long time ago and am going to transmit him all force and energy of my thought.
Million kisses, much fondness and love for all of you. Beth

Rafa in three, one close set, two easy ones. Would love for Roger to win, but I don't see it this week.

Roger will be lucky to win a set. Rafa is on his favorite surface, healthy, confident, and with a 4-1 record advantage over Fed. I never thought I would say this, but I am kind of beginning to feel sorry for Fed, for he is going to be biting the dirt once again tomorrow. How wicked is this, a tennis genius who singlehandedly ruled the courts finally found his ultimate nemesis. Awesome.

Well, we'll see. It's not like Federer struggled against a nobody, he just beat the #3 player in the world. Nadal played Gael Monfils. He got a pretty easy draw and was lucky that Roddick went out.

I'll say Nadal wins in 4 tough sets.

No surprises for me. Nadal in 4, as usual...

If for nothing else, I hope Nadal loses just so some of his cocky fans can shut up (excluding Vamos).

Of course, I'm sure some are saying the same thing about Federer losing so cocky Federer fans can shut up.

When is the match anyways? Somewhere I saw it was supposed to be tonight? But somewhere else I saw Sunday night? Huh?

Tennis hardly ever airs in the US -- it really sucks. There's freaking baseball on instead -- what an incredibly boring sport! Even at the Aussie Open, which I tape-recorded, the producers edited out an entire 2 games from one of the sets in Federer vs. Baghdatis.

This is for all you arrogant Fed fans that say that Nadal is just a clay court specialist and he can't beat Fed on anything else. The other Fed fans that are objective (FedUberallez and a couple of others.) this isn't directed to you guys.

Enjoy =)

You are bold to post that here. Talk about a Nadal highlight reel -- in one match, no less.

Thanks, mamasue.

The only thing I can think of after watching that clip and from what I've seen of their matches is this: Fed needs to hit DEEP balls that don't allow Nadal to really play the angles and utilize the spin on his shots so much. I think if he can do that he might stand a chance. Otherwise, forget it.

Nadal is just too damn fast. He runs everything down and hits everything in. And he can hit some unbelievable passing shots, and can crank up that forehand when he wants to and hit some great angles.

However, you can see from that clip that Federer doesn't really have a problem with Nadal's spin. Any kinks he might have can be worked out with more experience against that type of game.

BTW, you could probably make an even longer reel of Federer highlights from that match.

You could, but mamasue is a loyal VR member.

Still, when I watch that, and I realize how much Rafa can improve over the next year or so, it makes me very positive about his future.

If he's this good at age 19, you have to think he's going to improve on all surfaces.

BS - you know what happens to all them scramblers who rely on running balls down - their body breaks down faster - not a long term career plan - enjoy the red dirt and young legs while you can - you dont have a career anywhere else.
