Default Henman's Setup

I know noone really knows what racquet he's actually playing with, but I was wondering if anyone knee how much his racquet weighed, what the balance is, what string he uses, and what tension he strings at?

Thanks in advance.

By the way, I did a search and could not find this information.

I know he uses Timo 17 in the mains and VS Gut in the crosses strung in the low 50's. Usually between 51-54 from what I've seen in different logs.

Not certain on finished weight and balance.

The blue paint job looks a bit like the latest Dunlop?

http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/desc...NLOP-D200.html

I would guess it's probably a bit heavier than stock.

He was serving some nice lightning bolts against Tursunov yesterday, so that must be a decent S & V stick.

Some European poster here picked up one of Henman's racquets with the Pro Braided paintjob. I don't recall if he posted specs...He uses a Karakal PU grip, if you were interested in that.

However, it is definitely a customized PSC 6.1 variant.

But, it must be a Euro version because it's 18x20, no?

I heard 48lbs i thought, henman uses Timo 1.10 and Vs gut back in 2004 anyway maybe changed now, but fact is thin strings and low tensions.

Have to mention here at this point, and not noing how to use two quotes in one reply that Slazenger and Dunlop are owned by the same company, also Tim had used 6.1 classic for time until slazenger clocked on and actually bought the 6.1 mould of wilson since then sure mods have been made but very similar racket.

yes it playes very similar to the 6.1, i hit some balls with the signature henman stick. very stiff though, i think i strung it too hard, if i didnt hit the sweetspot no power, at first i thought it has something to do with the lack of the pws but since i've read here on the board that these are hollow and of no use it has to be the tension. i had trouble hitting the sweetspot cos its a long racket, i use to play standard lenght. i also looked below the grip, no lead to see. the racket felt very headlight.
